wheat thresher

a monstrously large person who owns a home in a swamp, protecting it fiercely and violently. it seems like she's protecting something inside her house more than the house itself, but no one has ever made it in or out with full memory of the event. anyone who enters will wake up sore and dizzy, but ultimately safe on the side of the road leading to the house... she always goes for the non-lethal route unless there is reason to go further. there are rumours of great treasures inside that house, secrets of ages past, perhaps some kind of legendary weapon even...! but who can really say? it's not like she will ever tell. she is, however, very kind at her core. she is very shy, very warm, if not extremely awkward. she doesn't really speak much, preferring to communicate with actions and gestures.

inside of her house, there is indeed something very important to both the fate of the world going forward, and the history of the world going backwards. but, for her privacy's sake, it won't be revealed here. she has spent countless years guarding it, like a dragon and her hoard, so to undo that work would be cruel, would it not?

though, perhaps... there's a very small chance, small indeed but a chance nonetheless, that the house might be a decoy...

personality

• enigmatic - mysterious, unfriendly, closed off; if you don't need to know, you never will
• pragmatic - she acts recklessly when she can get away with it, but when she needs to, she has the safe precision of a practiced surgeon
• intimidating - it's part of her whole schtick, really, to be as scary as possible to drive people away from her treasure... but also, she's just naturally like that
• protective - after all, she has something important to guard! but even with smaller things, she can be a little territorial...
• gentle - she does know when to turn her scary demeanor off and meet situations on kinder terms when called for

design notes

• she is very rectangular in build with a flat chest and heavy tail
• her eyes are pure white with no visible iris or pupil
• she has very large teeth but does not like to open her mouth much
• she owns a lot of different undershirts, but as far as anything else goes, it's all tracksuits and crocs
• her hair goes down her back like a mane all the way down to her tail, but it's rather spotty along her back

trivia

• not much is known about her, which is just how she likes it
• she likes cooking for people who have manners; for example, people who ask to come inside rather than just barging into her house
• people think she's gloomy, but she listens to hip hop and stuff
• she's good at most sports
• she enjoys building things, such as sheds, furniture, walkways... anything that she can think of, really
